The secret Farsul base revelation is fascinating!!!

Wesley Rigg

Loxel Abridged 3: "You traitors conspire against me and would just as easily steal my guts! You’re all wicked companions who reject my outstretched hand, only to whisper about how difficult I am. I should just go back to my garden so you can insult me in private,” Loxsel wailed before tumbling down the stairs to the bottom of our box. Even though I knew how committed the Sivkit was to method acting, the uncontrolled fall made me worried; he’d be the type of actor who’d risk breaking his neck for a bit. That’s when I noticed Loxsel was wearing some sort of white garment over his midsection, with sleeves that had straps tied around his back. It looked like one of the Terrans’ shirts, but this one was cinched tight, almost like it was meant to restrain him. The Sivkit tasted the blood dripping from his nose, but otherwise seemed fine, with a wicked gleam in his eyes. He awkwardly flopped around until he managed to stand and find a seat, though it didn’t look comfortable. After a moment, I realized he’d fallen because he was trying to walk on two legs in that outfit, something his spine wasn’t meant for. “What are you wearing?” I hissed. “Oh, this!” Loxsel tried to pull his arms apart and accidentally elbowed a nearby Naltor, who shot him a deadly glare. “Do you remember my human friend who played Daxfrin in my play?” “The one you punched? Yeah, I remember. Do you even know his real name?” “His real name doesn’t matter, but the point is he was one of the guards here today, not at the Paltan base! He knows I didn’t hesitate to strike a predator or refuse to bow to him. So instead of denying my truths and telling me not to doubt his peaceful nature, Daxfrin introduced me to the secret of their clothing. This is a straitjacket, used by humans until they learn not to hurt others! It’s part of their fashion. He didn’t want me to cause trouble with the SC, as a Sivkit runaway with fire!” “What the hell is he talking about?” Zalk grumbled. “My heart is like a comet, blazing a trail even when you try to restrain me. This meeting can’t handle my freedom, so I must wear this garment. The Bissem guards, giving me land as compensation, are keeping me from meeting with the Arxur!” “Shut the hell up, Loxsel. Nobody wants to hear your insane…just sit down and be quiet! Some of us are serious about governing and have actual concerns. I could be out looking for who attacked Ivrana, but instead, I’m stuck babysitting you and Tassi!” “The Starlight Incident? I know who did it. It was the Farsul.” I jumped in, not wanting Loxsel’s wild claims to have consequences for our Talsk refugees. “You’re only saying that because you don’t like the Farsul for what they did to you. I understand that, but you can’t make false accusations like that.”

If it is the federation remnant they’ll likely fight both sides.

I’m not sure that I trust Loxsel’s story. I admit that he’s been honest with most things, but never completely honest. He speaks in a lot of half truths, masked by layers of theatrical speech. His story doesn’t add up. He gets abducted by this “Shadow Farsul” group, he’s allowed to read all of his people’s history, and then he’s allowed to escape from this group that remained secret and hidden for (presumably) a millennia? Given how the Archives were set up, I find this even less likely than it already sounds. He’s distorting the truth again. One thing I do feel makes sense is this group being behind the Starlight Incident. One thing that’s been confusing all of us for a long time is that the Nomads’ cybersecurity is so advanced, even more so that humanity & the Yotul’s. If they had regular Federation stock, they would have had to expand and adapt it over the century that they had it, until it was better than what we have. However, if they got it from a secret group that was hiding their existence from the Federation, and thus needed better cybersecurity… that makes more sense. Also, every time we get an update on Irvana, I feel more sure that the Bissem are in over their heads. Now there’s infighting over the Sivkits eating so much vegetation. I suspect the new fleet is from the Federation Remnants. Enough of them probably still care about the Kolshians to fight alongside the SC. I doubt anyone else from the Shield will, and the SC forces are already there. I don’t think we’re going to get to see the “Shadow Farsul”’s power so early, either.

God bless this land and its trillion dollar defense budget!

Solid chance of these guys being Fed Remnants, but until we find out in three days (possibly), I'm going to assume they're United States Space Force ships that were built in secret so they could throw off the yoke of UN hegemony. This theory is supported solely by my fanatical and irrational levels of patriotism. Go USA!

So… we just not gonna to talk about the super ships with ultra advanced AI quantum computers?

RIP Nelmin, eated by locusts. Speaking of locusts, it seems like every time Loxsel appears he comes in with fan art bait. Guaranteed straight jacket Loxsel fan art in a week tops.
