Marin Longoria

I agree with you, I was really expecting that kind of development.

Well, Kuemper is an absolute pos. What kind of reaction was that? This is the time to push for Arxur release and acceptance, something humanity should have been doing for the last 20 years! This chapter has great action, but it also shows the rotten underpinnings of SC politics, and the UN criminal complacency in not stomping out the Fed imposed predator - pray mentality from our corner of the galaxy.

Edit: I should have read more of this chapter before commenting the idea I got after the last one... Looks like SP was way ahead of me and came up with an even better way to use mines! This chapter is excellent! Between the action of the battle and Loxel's antics, it is a great pallet cleanser for other threads of this story which I haven't been enjoying lately, unfortunately. Still haven't gotten to Quana's POV though, but Tassi is my favorite now that SP has broken Gress. Also, have the humans and the Technocracy not designed any specific anti drone / anti AI systems in the last 20 years? There are real things today that jam computer vision while barely noticeable to humans so...

Dookus Maximus

I'm sure his words and actions are a result of much discussion behind the scenes. I think the nation he serves (can't recall the name) maintains neutrality and isn't involved in any of the current conflicts on Ivrana, so they've been able to maintain backchannels to keep the other nations informed. That is to say, while Naltor's government doesn't consult the others for every single decision, they've probably made them aware of their general goals. For example, I'm sure they had to get the green light from everyone else before setting up the Sivkits on that uninhabited continent.

The consortium has artificial sunlight if it’s fully close

Roscuro

I don't remember if I asked on the logistics of the cages that the consortium has, do they just block out the sun or have artificial lights on the inside when it's closed? The logistics on materials is a whole other can of worms. Also, even Tassi thinks the funny bunny needs meds. I think he just needs a therapist.

Neu5Ac

I appreciate the political brilliance of Naltor immediately confessing to leaking the jump coordinates to the Arxur. He turned what would have been an inquisition leading back to the Bissems into admonishing everyone still holding a grudge, while also establishing a moral high ground for themselves. It's good to see him improving after what happened last time. That said, I am curious about how the other Bissem nations feel about him offering refuge to yet more species on their behalf (unless the offer was only on behalf of his own nation, although that wasn't explicitly stated).
