Vysith is great - loved to see an intelligent Arxur. That's she's functionally a militant anti-fascist is all the better 😂

Not quite. It is more likely that the Arxur were more anti-social and asocial. The Arxur probably had specific roles for “sociopaths” as opposed to humans seeing ASPD as a disorder. For the Arxur, sociopaths and neurotypical individuals would be pushed into different job roles with a close eye on ensuring cooperation. I’d imagine it would be something like Paycho-pass, but out in the open.

While I feel sorry for Vysith because she had to wake up into such a nightmare, I really hope after she gets over the initial shock, she realizes that there’s still hope for the Arxur. Isif is the prime example, he has empathy and thrives for a better future despite constant rejection, all the while he’s a Chief Hunter. If a defective Arxur could hide in plain sight as someone who’s probably under constant strutny from all directions, there must be more hiding in the general populace. If I were in their places I would try to blend in as much as I can. While the ratio of empathetic Arxur went down quite a lot, there must be enough left to salvage their civilization, it will take a lot of time and work, but it can be done. But it would be much easier if Vysith and the other archive rescues would help to guide back the rest of their people, instead of staying on earth and pretending their species no longer exists. I love that while speaking to Sovlin Isif doesn’t try to convince him that he’s different, but instead explains why Vysith does deserve a chance. You know, to undo Betterment’s meddling we need more empathetic Arxur. Maybe Vysith and Isif can work on that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) . Sorry I couldn’t help myself. I have an irresistible urge to ship, and these two could be perfect for each other (after Vysith warms up to Isif a little). Unfortunately, on a sour note I’m disappointed that the Arxur in the past were so much like humans. I liked that Arxur’s are naturally antisocial, it was an interesting concept how such a society would develop and function, but learning it’s mostly the result of Betterment, makes the Arxur feel like basically every other species we seen so far (who are also too similar to humanity in my opinion).
