Beta Build Delay
🕑 Added 2024-02-01 05:58:12 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Just here with a quick update post to announce that the next beta build update for Reanimation Scheme that should come out this month (with some chapters of Jori's route) will have to be delayed. 😭I'm really sorry about this delay.
A couple reasons:
- Ren'Py (the engine I'm using for the game) had a recent engine update, so I'm trying to update my game to the newest version. Unfortunately, that resulted in some issues, so I'm trying to get those figured out still.
Now the bright side is that 8.2 comes with a feature where I can make an in-game patcher/updater. Which means whenever I update the beta build in the future, you guys can just patch the new updates when you open the game without having to download the game build files all over again from itch.io!
A preview of what the updater looks like:
- I've been unfortunately struggling with some health issues in real life, which meant a lot of doctor appointments and also just feeling tired and crappy overall. I didn't manage to get as much coded in for Jori's route as I hoped this month, but I'll try to catch back up on progress as soon as possible.
Again, I'm super sorry for the delay, but I'll try to get the first beta update for Jori's route out within the next two weeks.
Thank you so much for your kind support and patience!
