I also was hopeful about the election, but not surprised by the result. But it is wild to think about the people who voted for reproductive rights also voted for trump. Also, some states that went to trump also elected a democrat governor/senator/congressperson. As a Black person, I liked that Harris was the nominee — but I am realist , and knew that only Joe Biden or another white man had to be matched up against trump. We really need to shake up the DNC and remove the old guard and make it more progressive. It is no mistake that the top 10 podcasts are all conservative. We need to leave legacy media behind as they did nothing to help this past election, and we need new ways to penetrate through the noise of the internet propaganda machine.
