Interesting thoughts. Can one love someone without trusting and/or respecting them? I think it happens. Conversely, I don't "love" my coworkers, but I definitely trust and respect them. I agree that choosing kindness does not necessitate the abandonment of anything virtuous. I loved the "why not choose kindness" video. :)
I know some people with I'm not honest because I won't be kind if I was, so doesn't it mean I can't be truly kind with them ? My head hurts. Also, are you going to make your hair better and better every day ?
