Production Update 9/22/25

I've got a pretty radical redesign to show y'all this month, as well as the rest of the finished Mylo sprites! I hope y'all enjoy and let me know what you think!
Art update:
Well, the obvious thing to do after updating Mylo was take a crack at Kess. I know Kess is a, surprisingly to me, very well liked character. Not only for their actions but also their design, so I took a lot of consideration into the update. It is radically different, but I think it still captures the vibe of the character as I intended. But, let me know what you think!
Writing update:
I don't want this update to turn into a six month update, but I'm not sure I can avoid it when I give each of the characters a day of their own, hah. It's something I struggle with, not wanting to leave anyone behind, but also keep a good pace with the plot. This update, ideally, is going to be half fluff/day off with the guardian of choice, as well as a day for lore. I'm really looking forwards to what I have planned, I just have to get there.
That's the most of it for now! I'm working on getting some commissions for some other things I'd like to see, but those are going to take some time. As usual, let me know what you think and I hope to hear from you soon! Thank you for your support!

I wonder, seeing as no one seems to know where the Mæron came from, what it actually is/does, or who built the damn thing, could it have been used for exactly what it did to Tucker? Could whoever had built it, used it as a means to take beings/life from one universe to seed another to produce intelligent life again? Like what some would consider a God? Maybe that's how life starts on any planet in any universe? Maybe whoever built it, used it to take different breeds of dogs from earth 🌎 to Iyeo, Rike and others and they gained sentience instead of primates? Like Saint Bernards, wolves, dobermans, labs, retrievers, and corgis (Dr. Paytr). Those were uniquely bred by humans so I doubt they'd evolve as such elsewhere even given the same starting point.

I really miss the astrophysics conversation I had with someone on the itch.io page. We were trying to figure out how the Mæron worked. If they were using and/or creating antimatter? If they had repulsive gravity or could manipulate gravity itself to become attractive or repulsive at their will? If Tucker did pass through a wormhole or black hole 🕳 to get onto the Ikiroid-2? If it was a black hole it would explain the time dilation his phone showed, while it was working that is. 🤔
