Weekly Friday Update (11/4/16) - In a Past Life
🕑 Added 2016-11-06 20:01:11 +0000 UTC sorry i'm late with the friday update on a sunday afternoon! its daylight savings time! or the end of it! something like that.this week is something vaguely related to NH. those who've stuck around for a long time may remember what it started out as, which was a concept titled power pop. it never really got far along in terms of plot development which is how it evolved into NH.
most of the concepts centered around color-based magic, similar to typings in pokemon. each color would have its own attributes and associated elements, and darkness/shadows were the "evil" as more of a non-entity than an actual villain. all of NH's main cast stemmed from the main cast of power pop, so here's a redesign of an earlier miles.
a lot of ideas were thrown around and overall it was very gamey, even past how the magic worked, but its something i've thought about revisiting. maybe redone power pop preproduction would happen alongside NH development.
