Hello, Players! 🌟
We’ve got a lot of ground to cover in this update, and I’m excited to share what’s been happening, address some recent challenges, and talk about the amazing future we’re building together.
🔔 Community Updates
Addressing Challenges Together: Recently, a Player in our Discord expressed feelings of defeat, saying, "I give up." As a community, we came together to provide support, encouragement, and perspective, reminding each other of the strength we all bring to this space. This moment highlighted the essence of what The Church of New Game Plus is about—being there for one another when the game of life gets tough.
Growing Pains, Growing Gains: Discord continues to be a vibrant hub for connection, and every challenge we face is an opportunity to level up together. Keep engaging, sharing, and supporting—it’s what makes this community thrive.
🚀 Plans for the Future
Here’s what’s on the horizon for The Church of New Game Plus:
Ministerial Roles:
We’re introducing requirements for becoming a minister within the church. Ministers will serve as guides for specific gaming genres and embody the principles of resilience, creativity, and inclusivity.
To qualify, you’ll need to demonstrate mastery in your genre—whether it’s completing a notoriously hard game, showing deep understanding of gaming mechanics, or creatively interpreting church lore. Keep an eye out for more details on how to apply!
Timeline for Official Status:
We’re working toward officially establishing The Church of New Game Plus, and the timeline is coming together. By Febuary 14th, 2025 , we aim to have all foundational elements in place, including our lorebook, Code of Doctrine, and ministerial structure. Your contributions will be vital in making this vision a reality.
Call to Action: Content Creators Wanted!
We’re looking for Players to help create content that embodies the spirit of our community. Whether it’s writing lore, crafting sermons, producing videos, or developing Discord activities, there’s room for everyone to contribute. If you’ve got creative ideas or skills, step up and let’s build something extraordinary together.
❤️ Gratitude and Reflection
This journey wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of you. From supporting one another in moments of vulnerability to stepping into leadership roles, you’ve shown what it means to be a Player in this game of life.
Thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we’re creating something bigger than ourselves—a space where we can rest, grow, and truly level up.
📅 What’s Next?
Stay tuned for more updates on Discord and social media.

This is just the beginning, and with your help, we’re leveling up to something extraordinary.
