I loved this movie as a kid, and a bit like Tom, movies like this and The Mummy totally got me interested in ancient history. The score was great as well, I actually have the main theme on a movie soundtrack playlist still. For some reason never watched the tv show but I would definitely be up to try S1. I remember my brother was obsessed with it.
