"Patron's Choice" SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 4 Suggestion Thread
🕑 Added 2023-01-10 16:00:03 +0000 UTCHey all!
It's that time again for you all to suggest speedruns that will be covered in a future video! Right now the timeline for the channel is as follows: January is HITMAN 3, February is Control, and March/April is between a few games currently that I haven't decided on. After these three videos, we'll then move on to covering whatever is chosen as a result of this poll, with it being out likely in either April or May. Sorry for the long time between uploads and the long lead time on this video, just the nature of the business!
The polling process for this will last around two weeks: one week for suggestions, one week for everyone to vote.
A couple notes/rules:
1. The list is starting as empty. Any runs that were a part of the last poll will not be a part of the poll by default.
2. Any runs suggested must be on speedrun.com and have its own leaderboard/category. Please be sure to list the specific category for the run (e.g. Any%, Glitchless, NMG, etc.).
3. The run can be no longer than one hour in length. This is a hard cutoff.
4. Everyone gets TWO suggestions! If you participated in the previous poll and still would like to submit the same runs, you are more than welcome to do that.
5. You cannot submit a run for a game that has been previously covered on the channel (or for a game that already has a video in production). The full list of blacklisted games are as follows:
- BioShock
- BioShock 2
- Bloodborne
- Control
- Dark Souls
- Dark Souls II
- Dark Souls III
- DEATHLOOP
- Demon's Souls
- Dishonored
- Dishonored 2
- DOOM (2016)
- DOOM Eternal
- Elden Ring
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Fallout
- Fallout 2
- Fallout 3
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Fallout 4
- Fallout 4 VR
- HITMAN (2016)
- HITMAN 2
- HITMAN 3
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Mirror's Edge
- The Outer Worlds
- Portal
- Portal 2
- Prey (2017)
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom
- Stardew Valley
- Subnautica
- Titanfall 2
- Untitled Goose Game
Suggestions will be open for one week after this post going live, then I'll make the poll with all the options and let that run for one week as well before closing the poll and beginning to make the video! Looking forward to seeing everyone's suggestions!

I think Super Mario Odyssey could be a fantastic speedrun to cover since it combines many technical aspects and many skill features. The any% runs are just under an hour.
Kevin Jagroep
Hi there. Have you thought of ghostrunner? I think it would be quite technical seeing what speedrunners do with it.

Make sure to look up how long a category is before suggesting it, a rule for the submissions is that they have to be under an hour long and Witcher 3 runs are almost 2 hours long, so I wouldn't be able to cover that! If you have other suggestions be sure to let me know
brennan
i’d love to see you tackle a witcher 3 any% run!!

Throwing Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Claire/Moira any% back in the ring.
