Announcing the "250 Patron Special: Live Q&A"
🕑 Added 2022-01-14 17:48:21 +0000 UTCHey all!
Thank you so much for your continued support and belief in the channel, and thank you for helping us reach the goal of 250 Patrons! The journey to here has been absolutely baffling, and it's a place that I never thought I'd see the channel get to. For passing the milestone, I'll be hosting a Q&A livestream.
The date for the stream is this upcoming Tuesday, January 18th. The stream will start at around 6PM CST. The stream will go for a max of around 90 minutes, but will likely be around 60 minutes. If you're not able to watch live, the link will still be available for you to view the VOD.
If you aren't able to make it to the stream or have any questions you'd like to ask in advance so that they'll for sure be answered, leave them as a comment on this post. Feel free to leave as many as you want. You will also be able to ask questions live in chat.
I'll be making another post sometime soon announcing the next Patron's Choice SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED poll, but more info on that to come in a couple days.
See you Tuesday! Cheers!

Is it tough for newbies to get into speedrunning established games like FO4? It seems like there's a lot of fairly precise techniques with the modern speedrun that look like they might be a high barrier to climb for a newcomer to the scene.

How do you come up with so many great nick names?

Won't be able to watch to ask so: How's your 2022 going?

• Are there speeding running techniques/glitches that you dislike seeing in runs or discussing in your videos? It can be for any reason, whether it be how common that thing is across different styles of game speedruns, how simple (or difficult) it may be to accomplish or understand and explain, how much it breaks the game or run itself, or whatever really. • Is there a singular thing that most draws you towards the games you select for a video? The complexity of the run, your enjoyment of the game, the runner themselves? • How do you come up with the bits in the ads? They’re very entertaining.
