SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 14: Production Update 2
🕑 Added 2019-10-23 00:18:56 +0000 UTCTL;DR at bottom.
The script for the next video, which focuses on the No Out-of-Bounds speedrun for TES IV: Oblivion, was finished in the middle of last week, and recording for the commentary of the run began immediately after.
I was able to wrap up the first draft of the full commentary for the run, and as I type this the first draft of the commentated video is rendering. I'll be sending it off for review to my partner for this video, who will get back to me with notes. We'll repeat this process, and hopefully have the video finished early next week, and it will be up on Patreon for viewing at that point.
I'm actually a big fan of how this video is turning out. I've eliminated the rewind feature that we dabbled with in the Prey video, since it's not necessary at all for this run. I'm also going to attempt to not include asterisks with this video. Instead, I might leave a link in the description to the full, uncut script for the video with lines that were cut due to time highlighted. That way if anyone is interested, they can pull up the script and follow along while watching, or read through it to get any additional info they may desire.
That's about it for this update. I'm still trying to pick what game to focus on for Speedrun Explained 15, but we have time to sort that out.
Hopefully the new video is up for viewing on Patreon at this time next week.
