Mini Devlog - #18
🕑 Added 2020-10-26 01:23:05 +0000 UTCAnother productive month for sure! Though, a lot of the work was really tedious project management stuff, but very important nonetheless.
I feel like I've been neglecting the mini devlogs as of late, though mostly due to some tasks taking up a lot of time, as well as me having my hands way past full. Speaking of which:
New Team Members:
I've gained a Project Manager, and additional Programmer, as well 2 new Animators, Brooke (@FerretyFeza) and Mookie (@mookietamara)
Workflow Improvements
Outside of the general time spent onboarding these folks, I've started using yet another new tool for deeper project management and team info sharing: Notion!
Keeping track of things between Discord, Google Docs, Milanote, Github and Trello is... a lot. Fortunately, Notion helps take some of that away by doing what Google Docs, Github, and Trello was offering.
Of course, migrating that data over took some time (like almost 2 weeks), as well as adding additional information (and trying not to get grilled by the PM lol)
I'd share screenshots, but there's a lot of spoiler content (and I'm lowkey a bit too lazy to blur things, and afraid I'd miss something XD)
Coding Updates
With yet another chief in the kitchen, that introduced the need of setting up reoccurring meetings to make sure we don't bump heads as often.
We've got Breeze's new codebase around 85% to where it was (see previous update), while also adding in several abilities that haven't been showcased yet.
Here's a quick little video showcasing two abilities, Air Dash and Cloud Ride:
(Note, animations aren't final, if not obvious)

That's about it for now! Since I've got a project manager, and a few other folks added to the team, maybe I'll be able to write mini devlogs a little more frequently again?
(Still) Looking for a Sound Designer and Graphic Designer for UI/Graphics
Oh! I've still got a position for both Graphic Designer/UI Artist, as well as a new Sound Designer. The last search did not yield the results/candidates we were looking for.
For both positions, we will be looking for candidates that can design assets with a similar vibe of a Nintendo game (Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario, etc).
