Oh, that arm-breaking scene. Brutal. There is so much I love about this show. The music, the callbacks, the fight scenes, the character arcs. And no one does redemption like Cobra Kai. I still can't get over how much they made me love Johnny. But there is something else about this show that always boggles my mind, and that's how much story they manage to pack into each and every episode. Some of them are only 30 minutes long, some even shorter, and yet when I watch, with the amount that happens in each one, it always feels like the runtime should be twice that. The writers are masters at making sure that every line of dialogue pushes the plot or the characters or both, and not a scene is wasted. It's just incredible. I feel like I overstate this, saying it way too often, but what a great reaction, Dak. More, pretty please! :D

Been waiting for this episode it's in my top 3 favourite episodes in the entire show I mean it had twisted sister's frontman dee snider in the episode 🤘 the kids are back is one of my all time fav songs so that was awesome. Chosen is so good he is so wise and I find him very amusing and super kind of him giving Daniel the scroll , what can I say he like Tory is one of my favourite characters in the show as is Carmen actually seeing her smiles of joy warmed my heart . Hawk did a terrible thing but as you aluded to he looked in shock at what he had done . Kreese got slapped after calling him Rambo which is super amusing to me as he was a total dick in Rambo first blood 😀 great to hear scooby is all cosy and chilling in his spot of choice 😸 as always wonderful reaction dak the joy you felt we felt it too 🫶

This episode.. can’t wait to watch it. I love that arm breaking scene between Demetri and Hawk even though it was horribly brutal. Not only was it a call back to the fight at the school when Miguel had the chance to break Robby’s arm but didn’t and Hawk (in his mind) refusing to make that same mistake, but it also paints context to the lesson Kreese gave with rat in episode 2. He gave the rat a name, called it their friend and showed it no mercy because friendship doesn’t matter in war. I think what happened to Miguel has pushed Hawk further into the cobra Kai methods but now he’s in too deep.
