Such a great reaction to a fantastic finale, Dak. These reactions make me so happy. It may help to make the jump in skills more believable if you know two things. In one of the scenes during the fight, Jonny said to Miguel that he's been training all year for this. That means they all have. I do see what you mean about wishing you saw more of the training though. And two, the actors have said that the kids trained in karate in real life for the show, and apparently they learned so fast in production that the actors had to dial back their skills to make it look like they knew less than they did. Oh, and they also said that stunt doubles are rarely used in this show. They do use them, but only with the most dangerous scenes. The majority of the fighting is done by the actors.
