I'm that rare one who doesn't love Faith AT ALL... I don't hate her, just have NEVER and will NEVER lover her. The 'poor me' attitude never wins me over.

Holy crap. Sorry about all the comments here, but having watched the rest of the reaction, and having gone back and watched that scene with Faith and Wesley again, I just had a thought. What if there's a door number three, here? What if, you are right, Faith was looking for Wesley to reach out, but Wesley didn't believe it? We have to remember that Faith has a record of pretending to be on someone's side while manipulating them and playing with them. He saw that through the whole thing with the mayor and when she killed the mayor's assistant, Allan. What if she was being genuine, but Wesely thought it was just more mind games? That's what I always thought it was. It never even occurred to me that she might be being genuine at all until you said it.
