[0.3] Progress Update #01

As I mentioned in last week's update, work on Episode 3 has officially started and is already coming along nicely! As you might expect, the beginning of this episode will take place on Earth, where you'll get the chance to see Cindy again, talk with her, and get to know her a bit better. This part of the episode will also include an H-scene, which I've already started working on.
Also, just so you know, I didn't sit idle during the release period of Episode 2. Some of you may have noticed (and guessed it) from the preview image in last week's post, but I took some time to redo the AI-generated illustrations that appear during Sylvia's lore presentation at the start of Episode 1. Back then, I chose that method to get an old painting style while showing large cities or crowded scenes, something that's hard to achieve with Honey Select. But now, after a bit of image editing and experimenting, I've managed to create new visuals I'm really happy with, and I was able to recreate the painted look I originally wanted.

Comme je vous le disais dans mon message de la semaine dernière, le travail sur l’épisode 3 a bien commencé, et ça avance déjà à bon rythme ! Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, le début de cet épisode se déroulera sur Terre, où vous aurez l’occasion de revoir Cindy, discuter avec elle et apprendre à mieux la connaître. À noter que cette partie de l’épisode comprendra une h-scène, sur laquelle j’ai déjà commencé à travailler.
Sachez aussi que je ne suis pas resté les bras croisés pendant la période de sortie de l’épisode 2. Les plus attentifs d’entre vous l’auront peut-être deviné grâce à l’image d’illustration de mon post de la semaine dernière : j’ai profité de ce moment pour refaire les illustrations générées par IA qui s’affichent lors de la présentation du lore par Sylvia, au début de l’épisode 1. À l’époque, j’avais choisi cette option pour obtenir un style “peinture ancienne” tout en ayant des images de grandes villes ou avec beaucoup de personnages à l’écran — ce qui reste difficile à faire avec Honey Select. Mais après quelques expérimentations et un peu d’édition d’image, j’ai réussi à obtenir des rendus qui me plaisent vraiment et à retrouver l’effet peinture que je cherchais.
