The one **MINOR** thing I'd liked to have seen, is Joyce staying and getting the MOO parents together to fight as part of the adult front.... 🤷‍♂️

Darrell Palmer

Angel is by far the weaker of the 2 shows. David is so severely limited as an actor that he just can't overcome the weak scripts. Sarah Michelle Geller is such an amazing actress that no matter how crazy the script, she can sell it and make us care and cry. You just don't get the same level of involvement with Angel.

Jon Dub

I'd say more Act 1 of the Buffyverse in general.

Always wondered what social media would’ve been like when this finale aired back in the day. I can easily imagine Twitter meltdowns especially at the scene when Angel walks away 😂 . Look forward to your Angel reactions. My opinion, it’s the better of the two shows, and that’s saying a lot.

This episode ends act 1 of BtVS.

I will never get bored of watching the hospital scene. Love it when a show or film does a long single shot. Right from the moment angel brings buffy into the hospital up until his confrontation with the Mayor, all one shot!

Glad you enjoyed it Dak. Did you manage to predict anything? Looking forward to your interpretation of Buffy and Faith's dream. Buffy returns Faith's kiss on the forehead (in Enemies). Faith said to Buffy "What are you gonna do, B, kill me? You become me. You're not ready for that yet!" Do you rememeber way back in The Harvest that Willow told Buffy one way to get kicked out was to "blow up the school"?

I agree completely! Yes the symbolism was great with the destruction of the high school! I loved it, this show genuinely fuels my joy and excitement.

Angel will share the time slot of Buffy but once the season is complete it then gets moved to the demon tier instead of the bunker tier.

Venice Bitch

Don’t worry the watchlist is fine ;)

I really like how they did this finale. The way its been build up over episodes is really good imo, and made the finale a tense episode. I like how their classmates were informed, it kind of broke the buffy club open a bit, which made sense after the class protector award. I think they did it this way with faith (writing/story wise) so that there isn't another slayer called, so they dont have to deal with two slayers if they don't want to, but they can bring her back if they do want to. LIterally the high school exploding as they're done with high school and graduated is fun symbolism too. You already said most things in your post episode analysis. Glad you enjoyed it and look forward to the next season. It'll be different but the same :d

So will Angel only be available at the Demons Trap tier? Or will it share the time slot with Buffy and Bunker will still get it too?

About Angel, not sure if the guide Venice provided is the same one, but you should look up "slayalive watch guide". Since you only mentioned sometimes watching multiple episodes of BTVS, but the guide most people use also requires watching some episodes of Angel in a row
