Because Susan is a flawed character? Harry understands that and still sticks with her because that's how people are. No one is perfect, and Chiara believes that with time they can change them for the better

Oh shit! You're right. I originally had Hermione take Ancient Runes but then changed it to Muggle Studies. I must have forgot to change it in the library segment. Thanks for the catch
