LGR - Datadesk Trackball Keyboards
🕑 Added 2025-05-01 20:27:00 +0000 UTCEDIT: The video has been tweaked and added onto in a few ways. Mainly adding some more context about the LittleFingers concept being rejected by 262 companies, showing a couple inventions that were seen alongside it at Epcot in 1998, and what happened to its creator Dennis Nusser.
Back with another LGR thing that started off simple and turned into an enjoyable retro research rabbit hole.
These are the late 90s Datadesk Trackboard+LittleFingers keyboards! Rather well-built keyboards with a trackball built into them. And they look very similar, until you place them right next to each other and the difference is huge. Or small? Either way, size matters.
I hope you enjoy this one! And while the next episode was supposed to be a look at some weird old graphics software, it may now end up being a review on an upcoming PC game. Depends if I get the code in time, we'll see. Thank you for your support regardless!

Sometimes I realize I'm paying for this Patreon membership just to hear a grown man say "balls" a bunch of times in a video. And it's totally worth it.

there's something a little wrong with playing LSL on a keyboard made for children... Quake I've got no problem with, I don't understand. Fascinating stuff all round.
