Been reading through Michael Parenti's "Blackshirts and Reds" and it's mindblowing just how much the political landscape just hasn't changed... Any government that looks out for the taxpayer is vilified and wrong about everything; the governments that look to give big business more tax breaks and more rights to screw their workers are treated as saviors of the working class.

The only arguments I hear against qld Labor are: "crimes gone way up" no, crime reporting has gone way up; "Rent is too high" that's more of a federal issue, and definitely a dumbass greens talking point; "they're out of ideas" except the state owned petrol stations, the cost of living programs, and the green jobs and energy plan. Also, Steven Miles is a legend. He's on tiktok and whoever is helping him with it knows their stuff

Thanks, now I am deeply depressed. I am 75, Queensland govt terms are now four years. I do not want my final years to be spent cowering under the bed, or back out on the streets screaming I told you so. The only people who will be happy is the wankfest of Queensland Greens who are probably going to preference the LNP because fucking Palestine.
