Hello patrons! Matt the editor here.
I actually managed to get this video done in time to give you guys early access. Sorry we haven't been able to get these to you early every week. Basically if I'm able to finish the edit before 9pm, I'll post it early to Patreon. I'll try my hardest to get as many to you as possible.
A bit about the video - The Panama Papers. We're sure by now you've heard of them. What you maybe haven't heard about is that certain Australian journalists (*cough* ABC *cough*) have had access to every leaked document - and chosen to do nothing with them.
Tax evasion is a devastating global problem that needs to be tackled head on. Other countries have made some progress, but Australia, like in so many other areas, is lagging behind.
As always, thank you all so much for your continued support of our channel! We hope you have a great weekend.

Hey, Jordy, the link to your show tix doesn't work, also I hate FB, so yeah, another way to find out where and when please. I am planning on seeing you at GC on Oct 18, but need a link to tell me venue, time and price. Tx, moite !!
Please get in contact with this “jan mayman” ASAP (friendlyjordies sidetrack: “god, could she have a more Harmless name?”)
Marian Wilkinson, Lenton Besser, Bill Birnbauer are all listed as ABC Journos on ICIJ's site. There's a Journalist in perth named Jan Mayman who happens to be independent (by the looks of things) on ICIJ's list of Aussie journos. She's written an article for the Saturday Paper in 2016: https://www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/contributor/jan-mayman And for the age in 2018 https://www.theage.com.au/national/i-want-to-tell-my-children-the-history-hidden-in-berndt-s-notebooks-20181210-p50lg3.html Apparently she won a Walkley for her coverage of the death of a young aboriginal boy in custody. Riveting shit. Anyways, did a little snooping, according to her linkedIn profile, only has 10 connections listed. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jan-mayman-61401a7 and a second profile with 34 connections listed and similar listings stating she studied at UWA and Monash Uni linkedin.com/in/jan-mayman-95603968/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/paddy-cullen-70482a20/ This guy appears to be the only person who endorsed her skills. https://twitter.com/paddy__c?lang=en Twitter feed of above guy https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View/32020168676 ABN Listing states that her company was cancelled in 2015 which may suggest retirement of some sort. Postcode listed is 6009 (Nedlands, Dalkeith, Crawley) Might be a good idea to get in contact with her?
No you're breathtaking
