The Banking Royal Commission
🕑 Added 2019-02-07 07:16:31 +0000 UTC[Early Access]
As the dust settles on the Banking Royal Commission, it is becoming more and more apparent how much of a waste of time and money it really was. In this video we take a look at how it all went down, and the ABC's response to it.
And yes, while it is a completely ludicrous name for a segment on the media, our Friday videos are now officially entitled 'Ja Rule's Funtime Spooktacular ft. Friendlyjordies.' It was completely out of our control - YOU VOTED FOR IT!
Hahaha anyway, we hope you're all enjoying PHASE 3 of Friendlyjordies. We're working our asses off to make heaps of worthwhile content for you guys - and we're absolutely loving it! So thanks again for coming along for the ride!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and thanks so much for your support!
Love, The FJ Team
***EDIT***
Literally 30 minutes after we uploaded the original version of this video, the NAB CEO resigned from his position. Therefore, we have removed the line where we stated that he still had his job. Ahhhh, the perils of doing up to date content! - Matt, editor

I'm only new to your channel but love it all... Keep up the awesome work mate! If I could spare more $$$ I would.

I think this topic deserved a more serious video. The general population should be provided with more info on what the banks did and the insane recommendations that resulted from a royal commission. The last 3-4minutes of information could have been presented at the beginning of the ep to be more impactful. Also, would help to highlight how fucked this situation is because as we know people tend to lose interest/get distracted by the end. My opinion only, take with a grain of salt.

Layers and layers of sympathetic bank-centric "independent" regulators...yeah that's what we need. Where is their backbone? Where is the deterrent? Only presented by the unions. (Oh, and you, of course). Nice work. Love... :)
