Negative gearing is a tax break for wealthy investors which most benefits people with multiple properties in their portfolio. It has been a hot topic in the media of late. Labor says they'll rein it in if elected, as it is literally welfare for the rich.
Today we look at two articles covering negative gearing (one from Buzzfeed and the other from News.com.au). After reading them it would seem that the economy is about to be ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATED!
Also, as some of you probably noticed, our Wednesday video has been (hopefully) temporarily taken down by YouTube. It is being manually reviewed as we speak, so hopefully it'll be back up soon. Regardless, we are planning on uploading it to Facebook on Saturday so check it out there if you haven't seen it!

Entirely fiction. The Australia Institute has done studies into pretty much all of this. Real estate agents are not economists. They protect their own personal interests.

How can we fix a media that is almost fully owned by liberal party donors and dishes out liberal party propaganda 24/7.. I reckon if labor loses this election we need to hit hard on the media because they are as the orange man himself said “the number 1 enemy of the people” and I hate quoting that dickhead. Either way most people don’t know that negative gearing and franking credits as you put it before “centerlexus” mostly for the rich by the rich while the rest of us struggle with a housing market that increased by 7000% in the last 6 years and stagnate wages that barely make ends meet.
