Hi guys,
We've just realised that Patreon has been charging you guys in USD so you've all been charged more that you would have expected in AUD.
All the information is here https://patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204606275-Do-you-support-international-payments-Can-I-donate-in-any-currency
We're so sorry this wasn't clear and we're happy to reimburse anyone the difference. If this is a problem for you, please send us an email at friendlyjordies@gmail.com and we'll sort it all out for you.

By the way, I'm happy to let it go this time; it was an honest mistake.

The only way we can lower our pledge from $4.20 is to go down to the 'No reward' level. Will we still get early access, or would it be better to just lower the amount for Level 1?

Hey Thomas, Sorry Patreon is a US service and they don't offer a AUD conversion. So the amount will always fluctuate depending on the USD. If you want to lower your amount by around $1 so it is closer to $4.20 that might be the best way around it.
All good, it wasn't immediately obvious. I'm happy to just accept the mistake this time, but do I need to do anything to change it for next time or are you sorting that out?
Are you changing it to AUD? I'm happy to pay USD this one time as long as it's not a recurring thing
