🕑 Added 2022-11-04 20:13:34 +0000 UTCNow that Chapter 3 is up ($3+ tiers, have minor things to edit), I wanted to say thank you to y’all especially who emphasized, in one form or another, to slow down, in response to my body aches 🙏
I force myself through work (labor, time, and energy) to finish things for future me, often at the expense of present me. Many times it can have repercussions, but this time it worked out positively, partially because of y’all’s telling me to take care of myself… 🙏 I’m not used to having these little reminders, and am surprised by how well they work?? It’s “just” a comic, and a fan comic at that, and while it means a lot to me to complete it for many personal reasons, I’m v v v grateful for y’all helping me keep it in perspective
To summarize: standing actually worked the best! I got prescription NSAIDs that helped but made me crazy! Moral of the story is stretch ur glutes!
I’ll record all my 69 body aches in the Chapter 3 write up, which I need to get to soon. In the meantime… Here’s Meg’s back! I want mine to look like that!! Onto Chapter 4!!!!!!!

That’s such a good way of framing it, my attitude is ironically a little short sighted 🙏 I’m used to chronic aches from sports unities but never overuse injuries like this before… I’ve been treating them the same but Im slow to learn the repercussions are much harsher from overwork 🙏 Thank you Tam!!!!

From someone who injured her wrist from not resting properly and overworking and now has chronic pain: Please please please take care of your body! It is in the end something you're doing for future you as well, after all, because otherwise you'll be hurting yourself in the long run.
