Mid-Month October Update

How's it going? It's been a busy few weeks for me. I've finally reached a good settling in point after the irl fiasco. Essentially I left my full time job and am working a part time right now and am speaking with some people about work while I focus more time onto this project. My apologies for the delays, but I've got good news!
First up: Lust Quests

So I've got a lot of the over-world exploration on the LQ engine up and running, you can move around, enemies will chase after you and try to start a kerfuffle, you can walk up to allies, talk to them, and they'll follow you, a new song by Uberwulf is in the game, it's called "Flirting Fantasy," a remix of the original "FLIRT" theme and it plays when you are in combat.
Along with that I've updated the dialogue on Cannie, Tam, the spider, and Freya as placeholders. Next I'm working on a "gallery photo" system, this will let you view photos you unlock from beating certain enemies. The first two that will be getting NSFW portraits of their gooey defeat poses will be the patron picked "FYRE" and "SAURAI" I'll be giving them some post combat dialogue as well, so stay tuned for that!
After that I'm going to go back to working on the combat system, the base parts are in but I need to make moves deal bonus damage when hitting specific body parts and add some more interesting elements to it. Then it's working on the sprites and NSFW portraits. I'm planning to start producing more nsfw images and have some good anatomical posing dolls, so you'll be seeing a mix of my illustrations and Sketchu's in the game.
After that I really need to finish designing the UI for the website. I keep going back and forth on the aesthetic I want it to have because I want to tie the UI's aesthetic and the one of the site together, but I might go a bit simpler just for the sake of time.
Then it should just be a dialogue pass and this will be finished! Current tentative date (pending another disaster, which I think I've already gone through) should be Oct 24/25
Second up: Lust Quest Origins (the book)
Malic's got the YCH slots taken care of, the extra ones will be privately given out to friends or through private inquiries, all of the Agent level patrons (and one secret agent) ended up getting one, so they'll be getting that and hopefully all the novel prepwork will be done by Oct 24/25 to be sent off to the editors.
Thirdly: Overall timeline
After this, I'll be releasing WAY smaller little modules of Lust Quest. I thought that reducing the scale like I did to as large as the map is in this would be short enough for my tastes. I was wrong. It's still too large and the development time of this has gone on a bit longer than I'd like. After the end of this month (and our one year patreon anniversary) I'm going to drastically cut down on the scope of the Lust Quests mini adventures and we'll be seeing snapshots of different character's lives and interactions.
Basically we'll be following small one shot adventures of characters doing things in this setting and each little one shot will add to the total narrative. It's a little experimental, but if I plan this out right I could get you more content out every 2 weeks or so, and after a month or so of doing things that way, I'll ask for your feedback to see how it's being received.
