Othgar strode valiantly through the hastily erected and erect wolf tent city. The sexually charged siege had lasted longer than anticipated, and the new scents on the air had added a degree of dissatisfaction as well as restless arousal into the midst of the men and women of the fighting force. Othgar would have to move fast or risk having the entire camp break out in a sex sponsered riot of sorts.
On top of this it had become a distinct possibility that any inactivity Othgar’s part might grant Prince Mince the time needed to erect yet more defenses. Erect. Erect. Erect. The wolfsbane scent had managed to seize the camp from the walls of the city. The rabbit was clever indeed.
Its smell sparked a dangerous arousal that simply had to be acted upon. There was no time left for posturing and positioning. It was now or never. The wolves must go to war. Othgar summoned up all the surrounding attention with a howl. It was a directed thing, an trailed upon itself with a sadness that admitted to the world a possibility of defeat.
“This may well be out last days on this land. Cum slatterd and scattered we may well find our people spat upon the land. I don’t know. What I do know; however, is that before this happens those rabbits are going to swallow a whole lot of wolf first. So tell me, all of your, which one will be the one to knot that smug bunny prince?” shout Othgar.
Cheers and cries of passion built up through the army. A powerful charge had been worked up. The war had begun proper. Deep in the back of the camp came a hiss. Things were moving swiftly. The potion was almost ready, the plot long since in place. Slithas smiled as the substance glowed a bright flourescent white. In strode Slithas’ assistant, a seemingly loyal wolf there to warn him of the sudden development.
“The fight is starting early sir, something about wolfsbone ontha wind,” said the serpent's servant.
“It’s not surprising after that delivery you made last night,” said Slithas with a grin.
“You mean the herb that was supposed to make all the rabbits all horny?” said the servant with a tilt to his head.
“The very same, it makes everyone horny, but especially wolves,” said Slithas.
“I don’t understand sir, why? You said it would help defeat the rabbits!” shout the servant.
“Oh but it will, and so much more. This isn’t about that brash fool Othgar’s victory or that smug fool Mince. This is about my own victory, our own victory. All I need is this,” said Slithus, revealing the potion to his servant.
“This is the potion that’ll help you achieve victory then?” asked the servant.
“Yes,” said Slithus, shaking it a bit.
The servant grabbed it swiftly, and drank it up all at once. It dripped off his chin as he grinned through the betrayal.
