Bethany the Doll, Part 4

“Sure thing, sweety. You have fun.”
Madison took Bethany by the hand and effortlessly hauled her to her feet. Bethany was annoyed at being moved around so easily, but she was starting to get used to her new lack of bodily autonomy. She had little more say in where she was going to be from one minute to the next than an actual toy. Her plastic shoes slid across the floor like ice skates as she was dragged into the living room. She watched as Clara spread a blanket out in front of the television.
“Won't be long before you'll be ready to sit on the couch like Mommy!” commented Clara. Bethany guessed that this was in reference to her being in the late stages of toilet training, although since it was very unclear how old Madison was supposed to be in her little girl persona, it was hard to be sure.
Madison plopped herself down on the blanket, and since she was holding Bethany's hand, her dolly was along for the ride. Clara turned on the television, and changed the channel to a colorful children's show. As the channels shifted, Bethany noticed that most of the other channels were quite different from any she was familiar with. She had never heard of The Bondage Network, nor the Latex Channel, and she was pretty sure that she caught a few seconds of a commercial in which a few dozen women were sunning themselves on a nude beach. Bethany concluded that the entertainment in this world was quite a bit more risque and explicit than what she was used to.
“There. Something educational for you. Mommy will make a few phone calls and get started on the dishes. Call me if you need anything, honeybunch!” said Clara, setting down the remote as cheerful, simplistic music began to play.
“Thanks Mommy!” said Madison, already engrossed in the show. She patted a spot on the blanket beside her, inviting Bethany to cuddle up. Bethany winced as she considered the offer. It wasn't something that an actual doll could have responded to, so apparently she did have a genuine choice as to whether to sit right next to her owner, or a few feet away. She still wasn't keen on the idea of having an owner, and Madison seemed to be under the impression that she ought to be thrilled to be treated like a possession, which irked her. Still, Madison was also quite attractive. Bethany felt her heart race as she scooted over and sat down. Madison immediately tucked an arm around her and pressed her closer, like a teddy bear. The feeling of being pressed against Madison's side was far from unpleasant. Madison herself just stuck her thumb in her mouth and stared at the screen, seemingly enthralled by the colorful characters prancing about.
Bethany resigned herself quickly to being bored by the program, but she was surprised yet again. The show's jingle was really quite catchy, and the plot was genuinely hard to follow, although it was more senseless and chaotic than actually complex. Bethany soon found herself engrossed. The show centered around a collection of felt puppets who lived in magical village on a green hill, along with several human characters. The sun and moon bobbed up and down like balloons in the sky above, seemingly without concern to whether it was day or night. The characters chattered to one another, the conversation flowing freely from one topic to another without any concern for traditional storytelling. Bethany gradually became aware that what she was seeing was a sort of anti-educational show. It had the same rhythms as a program intended to teach young children basic information about the world, but intentionally distorted so that any child who watched would only become more confused. At the crescendo of one episode, the characters sang a bizarre version of the alphabet song. Madison evidently loved this part, because she loudly sang along as Bethany stared in baffled silence.
“A, B, C, D, L, H, J! Wombat, Dishrag, DNA! Incense, Fire-hose, Limerick, Beans! Denmark, Salt-lick, Aspen Tree! Now I know my ABC's! Next time won't you wash my knee?”
The inane show continued, episode after episode. Bethany wanted to ignore it, but somehow she found her eyes drawn back to the screen again and again, by one weird plot twist after another. Eventually, she surrendered, and allowed her mind to drift into the bizarre world the characters inhabited. Occasionally, they would sing about counting, or telling time, or about the alphabet, but nothing was kept consistent, even within the show. Bethany was particularly surprised to learn about the four seasons: Sprocket, Summest, Rise, and Eggnog. She found herself wishing that she had some weed, so she could properly get into the spirit of the thing. Madison obviously didn't need any.
The commercials that broke up the show were even stranger. Most of them were for candy and toys, and featured grown women playing with, eating, and talking about the various products. There were commercials for baby products sprinkled in as well, which would make no sense in the real world. Baby wipes and cribs were supposed to be advertised during news and soap operas, not cartoons. And they certainly didn't normally feature grown adults using the products on one another. The diaper commercials were the strangest. They all featured diapers that were much too large to fit any infant, but also were too colorfully decorated to be adult incontinence products. One just featured a full chorus of woman, some of whom were older than Bethany, dressed as cheerleaders. They did somersaults, formed human pyramids, and took every opportunity to flip up their skirts to show off their padded rears, all while singing the chorus of the “Let It Go” song from Frozen. Bethany suspected that these broadcasts were the work of the fairy, rather than any human-run studio. They gave her a weird feeling that made her shift uncomfortably on the blanket beside Madison. The commercials seemed vaguely menacing now that she had an owner who apparently wanted to put her in diapers. Madison certainly had no complaints about the ads. Whenever she wasn't staring in enraptured silence, she was squealing and cheering excitedly.
The day continued in front of the TV, one brain-softening episode following another. Clara came in intermittently, usually to give Madison a snack or to ask whether she needed the restroom, or the “potty” as they both insisted on calling it. Bethany insisted to herself that seeing Clara take Madison by the hand and whisk her off to the toilet did not make her feel anything except a vague disgust. Cartoons, weird commercials, potty break, more cartoons, even weirder commercials, lunch. Bethany realized that she it was now well past noon, and she hadn't felt the faintest urge to use the restroom all day. It made sense, in a twisted kind of way. The only things she had had to eat or drink today had all been imaginary. She tried sneaking a carrot stick off Madison's snack tray, but that experiment ended in failure. The thing simply would not go into her mouth, no matter how she tried to insert it. Lesson learned: it was real, and she wasn't.
“Are you hungry, Bethany?” asked Madison, as she watched her doll trying and failing to eat. “Here, open wide!”
Bethany had been “opening wide” without any success, but with Madison's imagination in play, the carrot stick entered her mouth without incident. It was far more sweet, crunchy, and juicy than a mere chunk of vegetable matter had any right to be. She was so busy chewing and swallowing, she almost missed the fact that Madison had palmed the actual food and had slyly eaten it herself. Bethany couldn't help but smile at Madison's ridiculous attempt at stagecraft.
The day whipped past, as days tend to do when you have no pressing appointments. Bethany found, to her own surprise, that she was starting to relax. The world around her hadn't gotten any less strange, but now that she was getting used to it, the weirdness had lost much of its edge of danger. She decided that she would simply wait, and see how things developed before deciding whether or not she liked it here.
The shadows were growing long when the first of the guests arrived. Clara, of course, was the one who made all the necessary arrangements for the party. Madison's role was simply to make whiny demands, not to purchase supplies, make phonecalls, or assist the general goings-on in any tangible way. Apart from her demeanor, Madison essentially lived as a wealthy aristocrat with a live-in maid, rather than as a little girl being cared for by her Mommy.
The first to arrive was a tall woman with long, black hair who wore a shiny blue bikini, as though she were about to go swimming. She was a Bimbo. Bethany wouldn't have normally thought of applying such a demeaning word to anyone she had just met, but in this case it was simply too obvious. Her dull, unfocused eyes, her constant and infectious smile, and the carefree way she moved seemed to scream the word, even before her more prominent features were taken into account. Bethany suspected that this was the same sixth sense at work that had caused Madison and Clara to identify her as a Doll, even before she had been dressed as one. Everyone in this world had a role assigned to them, and this woman's role was simply to smile and look pretty.
The Bimbo was escorted by a shorter woman in a neatly-pressed pantsuit with her hair in a bun. Her serious expression and dignified composure identified her role as that of Boss. She soon made it clear that she would not be staying.
“Good evening, Clara. I'll be back to pick up Cindy at eight.” said the Boss, handing off her large-chested charge to Clara, who smiled and took Cindy's hand with a respectful nod.
“Cindyyyyy!” screamed Madison, suddenly coming back from her long television-induced trance. She leapt to her feet with surprising speed and shot across the room to greet her friend.
“Maaaaddddyyyy!” cheered Cindy. The two woman ran and embraced each other with unrestrained excitement, and began jumping up and down in a circle, crying out in joy. Bethany felt her pulse race again, even as she guarded her ears from the force of their voices. Given the sheer scale of the breasts involved, that must've been some hug.
“Oh, oh, I gotta show you something! This is Bethany! I found her in the stream, and Mommy let me keep her!”
“N-nice to meet you.” Bethany gingerly extending a hand to Cindy. She didn't trust the look in Cindy's eyes.
“Ohmygawd! She is soooo cute!” squealed Cindy, largely confirming Bethany's fears. She ignored Bethany's extended hand and simply grabbed her by the waist. Bethany found herself being lifted into the air and crushed against Cindy's unbelievable cleavage. She might have enjoyed the experience if she hadn't been caught off-guard. As it was, she simply struggled to catch her breath as the woman squeezed her. The embrace was surprisingly gentle, given how she had just been yanked bodily off her feet by a woman who was great deal smaller than herself. Bethany had already known that the physics that now applied to her had been edited to some extent by the fairy's influence, but this really brought home to her how helpless she was now. Anyone could pick her up and play with her, an she had so say in the matter.
“Ooooh! Hi Bethany! You're gonna be lots of fun! I can already tell!”
Bethany screamed as Cindy tossed her in the air and caught her again and again. Cindy just smiled up at her, seemingly oblivious to her distress.
“Cindy!” rebuked Madison. “Cut it out! You're scaring her!”
Cindy looked back and forth between her friend and her new dolly. She slowly, and very carefully, set Bethany onto the floor on her butt. She raised her hands and backed up slowly. A lamp shattered against the floor behind her. Bethany stared at her sullenly from where she had been placed.
“I'm...I'm so sorry! I'm...I'm just...”
Madison inhaled deeply. “Mommmmmy! Cindy broke a lamp!”
“I can see that, honeybunch. Thank you.” said Clara, who had been watching this unfold from the door. “Don't worry about it, dear. I can just pick up a new one tomorrow.”
“I'm sorry...” said Cindy, looking like she was about to burst into tears. Her bottom lip quivered.
Clara sighed as she bent over to start picking up the fragments of broken lamp. “It's fine! Really! Everyone knows what they're in for when they invite you over.”
Bethany cocked her head to one side. That comment sounded needlessly mean. Cindy was just staring at her feet now, seemingly paralyzed with shame.
“Mommmy!” whined Madison, although her voice had a warning edge to it. What she might be warning of, other than an enormous hissy-fit, Bethany could not guess.
Clara cast her eyes dramatically toward heaven, as though beseeching the gods for strength. “Oh...fine! Cindy, get over here, you little dimwit!”
Bethany just stared from where she had been dropped on the floor as Clara took Cindy by the hand and led her over to the couch. She felt like she had completely lost the plot yet again. Clara sat down on the couch and pulled Cindy across her lap.
“Bad, bad girl!” shouted Clara, as she began spanking Cindy. “Stupid, clumsy little idiot! Can't you move an inch without breaking my things! Bad girl!”
Bethany shook her head in disbelief. Was this what Madison wanted? Clara didn't seem all that into it. Her shouted insults and abuse had a noticeable performative quality to them. For that matter, the squeals of protest coming from Cindy didn't seem particularly sincere either.
“No! I'm a good girl! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm so stupid!” she said, in between gasps and sighs of satisfaction. Bethany was beginning to suspect that this was another little show being put on for her benefit. But it wasn't over. As Clara landed blow after blow on Cindy's rear, it started to swell visibly.
“And now your stupid butt is just getting bigger! What is wrong with you!” said Clara, as Cindy's ass continued to expand, straining the few strands of material that held her bikini bottoms on. Cindy kicked her legs and continued to feebly struggle as her backside went from shapely to bulging to cartoonish. The sound of a balloon slowly inflating was audible. By the time her bikini bottoms finally gave in the strain and fell away with several loud snapping sounds, Cindy was grinding herself against Clara's lap and moaning shamelessly. Her butt cheeks had a very pronounced rosy glow.
“What a disgusting little trollop! You're enjoying this aren't you?” accused Clara. Bethany interpreted the heavy breathing and inarticulate whimpers that followed as a “Yes”.
“Well, I know where just where your big ol' keister belongs! Wait right here dumb-dumb!” said Clara, pushing Cindy off her lap. Cindy sat on her naked rear on the couch, panting for breath. Her ass easily accounted for a full third of her body mass now.
“Yayyy! I'm so happy for ya, Cindy!” cheering Madison, jumping up and down with excitement at this turn of events. “You get to be the first one of the night!”
Cindy grinned widely, but her eyes were completely unfocused. She looked like a cartoon character who had just been hit with a massive mallet. Soon, Clara returned, carrying a bottle of baby powder and ridiculously over-sized disposable diaper. Bethany felt the entire surface of her body shuffle around, as though it were trying to rearrange itself somehow. She couldn't have been any more embarrassed if it were she who was about to be put back in diapers. It was the same feeling that she had had when she had flubbed one of her lines in the school play all those years ago, or when she had tripped on her way to accept her college diploma. The familiar “I wish I could just sink into the floor” feeling. The thing of it was, what she was seeing now was so absurd, so over-dramatic, and so disconnected from anything real or reasonable, that she couldn't help but chuckle at what she was seeing. She was stewing in a potent cocktail of strange feelings, and she couldn't stop staring as Clara lifted Cindy's legs up and slid the gigantic diaper under her equally gigantic butt. A dusting of powder and a few loud crinkling sounds as the tapes were pulled into place, and Cindy was now a diaper girl. Clara pulled Cindy into a hug once her new pampers were in place.
“There, there. All done. Who could stay mad at a sweet little dumpling like you?” said Clara, rubbing Cindy's back and giving her an affectionate peck on the cheek. Cindy didn't look very upset, but she rested her head against Clara's shoulder while she whispered reassurances. Bethany hoped that this meant that the little skit had come to end, and that everyone was friends again. After a few moments, Clara rose and left the room, presumably to find a broom.
Madison lost no time in running over and giving Cindy's diaper butt a round of affectionate patting. “Yay! I love it when it you have a big diapey butt! Come feel, Bethany!”
Bethany looked at Cindy's expression. Her eyes were rolled backward in her head, and her mouth was hanging open slightly.
“Uh...I'm not sure how to ask, but...is she alright?” asked Bethany uncertainly.
Madison giggled at the question. “Yeah! She's just got a case of the ol' “Big Ol' Butt, Tiny Little Brain”! Don't ya Cindy?”
Cindy did something that might have been a nod, but it was hard to tell. She didn't seem capable of speech.
“She'll be back to normal before too long. Unless we play with her boobies. Gawd, I love playing with her boobies! It makes her sooo stupid!”
Bethany let out a sigh of exasperation. Her patience with this madness was wearing thin. “Why? Why would it do that? Why are you acting like this all makes sense?”
Madison rolled her eyes, as though it were all just so obvious. “I got an idea! Let's play 'Spaceship'! C'mon!”
Madison picked up Bethany from the ground and carried her on her hip. Bethany could do nothing but cross her arms in protest as she was carried upstairs, with Cindy bringing up the rear.
“It's in here! Follow me!” said Madison. She lifted up the blankets from around the foot of her bed. It really did look pretty spacious under there, relatively speaking. Madison crawled in first. Cindy crawled in behind her, but her rear was too large to fit. Bethany watched her legs kick helplessly behind the glossy plastic beachball that was her butt.
“Darnit!” called Madison from under the bed. “Bethy, could you give Cindy a push?”
Bethany looked at Cindy's protruding legs and diapered butt. Part of her didn't want to go anywhere near it. She wondered what it would feel like. To touch that soft plastic coating. To run her hand across the smooth surface. She wondered how deep she would have to press before the fluffy padding gave way to soft, yielding flesh.
She pushed the intrusive thought out of her mind. She tried to focus on the situation in a logical, concrete way. Her owner had asked her to do something. Madison was in a position to make her life in this world quite a bit easier or harder, given that she was dependent on her for basically everything. She was perfectly justified in doing this, she decided. No one could claim that she did it because she wanted to. She narrowed her eyes, wrinkled her nose, and pressed her hand against Cindy's bulging tushie and pressed. Like a popping cork, the diaper suddenly vanished into the recesses of the bed, the woman's shapely legs following behind. Bethany desperately tried to ignore the fact that she was now disappointed that the contact had not been longer. She got on her hands and knees and followed.
At first, she wondered why her owner and her owner's friend were being so quiet. It was too dark to see anything, but they couldn't be very far away. Or, so she thought at first. As she crawled forward, she found the the air felt less warm and more fresh than she would have expected. A soft hissing noise was audible in front of her, so maybe there was a ventilation duct somewhere under the bed?
These sensible, rational thoughts retreated one by one in the face of new information. As she crawled forward, she began to see lights up ahead in the distance. Small, electronic lights, and too far away. Madison's bed was extremely large, but it wasn't twenty meters long. The ceiling grew higher and higher as she crawled forward, and the lights began to appear all around her. The carpet began to change in texture under her hands, steadily giving way to smooth metal flooring. Eventually, Bethany gave in to what her eyes were telling her, and stood up. The world had reshaped itself around her. She was now standing in a wide, well-lit corridor. Behind her, there was no sign of any aperture that she might have just crawled out of. The corridor stretched away behind her and in front of her. And it looked familiar. She had seen similar corridors on nearly every episode of every science fiction show she had ever seen.
“Ah, there you are.” said a voice ahead. She jumped a little. It took her a second to recognize Cindy. She was wearing a form-fitting uniform of blue plastic-like material that, while a little on the revealing side, was nowhere near as revealing as what she had just been wearing. Her butt appeared to have returned to more a reasonable proportion to rest of her. Her breasts were large, but were no longer ludicrously so. Her hair was arranged into a tight pony-tail. Her body language was reserved and controlled, rather than loose and care-free. The biggest change was in her expression. She looked much more awake and aware than she had before, even before her spanking.
“Where are we?” asked Bethany, suspecting that she already knew the answer, but dreading it none the less.
“On Madison's spaceship. It's a great place to hang out and have a chat. Come on, the party is just getting started. Oh, by the way, thanks for the push.”
