🕑 Added 2024-11-25 15:57:19 +0000 UTC& I'm not sure if I should continue the city I started, I'm not quite happy and I feel quite limited with the money, I would rather do an inspiration series with unlimited money and just build random stuff and blend it all together to a nice city, but then I'm also not sure on which map... we'll see, let me know what you think! I think cs 1 content is easier to convert to short-form content, which is definitely one of my goals. But it feels like no one wants to watch CS1 videos anymore. Maybe I should've done a commentary, but the idea was to make some stuff which isn't extremely time-consuming...
Also i was not happy with the graphic settings but i spent like half an day to get it right...

I played nearly 3k hours in CS1, heavily modded. Haven't touched it since the patch that killed the barges mod, and hence my build. So no CS1 interest here, fwiw. Must admit to not having played CS2 since last October, after 500 hours in. There are other games and activities to keep my interest while all the drama plays out (switch to PDX Mods, performance fixes, flame wars, etc). I want to play a game, not debug it (done enough of that in career, and still have IoT projects that scratch that masochistic itch). But I still watch the CS2 videos & follow the game's progress, and will play again when the time feels right (the asset chokepoint...). As in most of life, do what pleases yourself and pays the bills. Missing either, long-term, usually makes one miserable. Cities:Skylines (and even YouTube) is a recent (to old farts like myself) development, and it will (like sooo much I've seen) fade someday. Enjoy it while it's here; prepare for what comes after. Enjoy! ๐ง
