I am simulating a 36 cylinder wasp major with relative fidelity on a 2020 6c cpu. It struggled with 14 on 12.2a its a real difference

Hey, no probs! Take your time. 😉 It's much better to do it right, than to rush a half-baked product.

It's a very noticeable difference, even on engines with few cylinders.

2-strokes are fairly straightforward, I'll be getting to those soon. I'm trying to prioritize work on the 3D interface as much possible so I don't keep you guys waiting too long

Dang, what about 2 strokes, how hard are those to simulate. I mean I don't code much but it seems kind of similar to your steam engine because of the exhaust port stuff that you did in that video?

This might be hard to believe but in a lot of ways, simulating a nuclear reactor is actually EASIER than a diesel engine. I know it probably seems like there's a lot of overlap between gas and diesel engines (which there is to some extent), diesel engines are actually significantly more complicated to simulate which is why I haven't implemented it yet
