You can find the game controls and modding examples here: https://github.com/Engine-Simulator/cosmospeed. If you run into issues, please message me or report it in the Discord server. Try to keep in mind that this is a demo and isn't perfect but it should at least start and not have any graphical glitches. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!

This has been a ton of fun! I'd love to eventually have the speedo/tach gauges added into the car or as a HUD along with a gear indicator. Maybe custom tracks as well? Great work!

Ok. i'll try it on my home rig first. The original engine simulator didn't work on this laptop either, so you may be right. I have an NVidia Geforce with 32gb ram at home so for some weird reason it doesn't work at home, I'll see if I can get on discord and holler at you.

It's possible that the Vulkan renderer is not supported on your laptop. If you have time, message me on Discord and I can take a closer look at what's happening

I do see cosmospeed.exe briefly in the task manager, but then it disappears after a few seconds. Nothing in the error log, and only "Starting Engine Simulator (c) Ektorom Software Inc. Script compiled succesfully" in the engine log.

Just saw that. Now I have no more error, but nothing happens. It loads, creates logs, but no window pops up on my screen. Same thing if I run as administrator. Don't see it open with task manager either. I'm on an older laptop at the moment, running Windows 10 with 8 gb ram.

Dang! I gotta say I'm really thankful for all of the extra work you put into this. To be able to have an actual swappable body is insane, let alone everything else that is going on. Thanks for this little side project, and I hope development with Engine Sim 2.0 goes well.

Check the link to the installation instructions, there's a section about DLL errors to fix this

I got this error while trying to run "the code cannot proceed because vulkan-1.dll was not found."
