Lucretia's Legacy Progress
🕑 Added 2017-07-27 16:01:58 +0000 UTC Just thought I'd share a render from this morning. Lucretia's Legacy is coming along nicely. This render features a new character, Sophia -- a former nun looking to make up for lost time. As you can see she's more on the curvy side than some of the other characters, which some people will love and some people won't. One thing I am trying to do in both this game and Bondage Island is to let the player choose which girls to concentrate on -- and for that to make a difference.Something I'm particularly proud of that I've added to the game is what I call the Slave Management screen. There is an option in the game to get girls to become your live-in slave. This screen will show your slaves kneeling, and they will stand up, ready to serve, when you mouse over them. If you click on them, you will get to give them further directions. The menu of available options will be relatively rudimentary in 0.02, the next release, but will expand as the game progresses.
I'm very happy with how the game is shaping up, but I have a laundry list of features that I want to add in 0.02 that have yet to be coded. I still expect to release 0.02 this first week of August. I'm hoping to release 0.03 before August ends, as well, aiming for a 3 week development cycle, but we'll see how that goes. Either way, I'm passionate about this game. :)

Noted. It's easy for me to get fanatical in pursuit of a design goal. I'll be going through the scenes thinking about this. I definitely want everything that should be in a new paragraph to have a paragraph break, whether it involves a click or not.

Thanks. That's really good feedback. I'm going to look at where I can break up some of the blocks, or at least add spacing so that things are easier to read. The balance there is that I don't want to add too many extra clicks.

Just played the 0.01 version of Lucretia and noticed a small problem: When flogging Marianne twice at the BDSM club the last paragraph (after flogging her hard) appears so low down on the screen (1920x1080 resolution) that it can't be read. And though it's not a bug, having all the text showing as large blocks of text makes reading them a bit tough. Apart from that, the game looks very promising :)
