Groovy, ACC, I really dig trucking through this reminder of 1970s lingo! It's a gas and really heavy!! Plus it brings back reminders of my past growing up in Evangelical and Charismatic (think Pentacostal lite) churches. I distinctly remember reading Warnke's book in 1974, when I was 13. So glad that era is over! But today is really no better -- we still have far too many people who fall for and believe bullshit conspiracy crap. There's Q-Anon; absurd myths that vaccines are a tool of the illuminati to cull the population; lies that babies are routinely killed after birth. ALL of these are perpetrated by people who are getting rich and gaining power from gullible people who depend on conspiracy ideas to help them understand a complicated world.
