My second time listening to this. You did an excellent job telling this story.

Linda Stadler

Me too!!!!

butt nugger

One of my favorite parts of this podcast hahah

Amber Adams

This was crazy!! LMAO

Swunkie

I can't hear it... peculiar... I took it as an editing glitch.

Savannah Asbury

Anyone able to hear what he said at 23:30 after introducing the bonus episode? I tried slowing it down and turning my volume up but I can't tell what he said.

AR

The part where he tried to prove his office existed by taping a sign on a UPS wall 🤣🤣🤣🤣 are we sure this guy actually went to Harvard

Swunkie

I was wondering too... he seems to have been be a booser... was it to campaign donations... why was he donating it... did I miss something...

Vanessa Lucio

Interesting story. When kids in school are forced to sit through another anti-drug campaign, they should play this episode instead....cocaine is a helluva drug.

Swunkie

Spoken like a tru Swindled junkie! 😝

Jacqueline Howard

A fabulous episode, as usual. Thank you, CC! The telemarketer charity scam reminds me of this doc on HBO—similar 90%/10% split, charity gets the 10%. Although shot by amateurs (and obvious), it is riveting and great story telling. https://www.hbo.com/telemarketers

Alan

And towards the end!

Michelle Hebert

I don't understand where all the money went. It's not like the guy spent it on fancy houses, clothes, and self care. He lived in a shi*hole house and cheap rooms. Where did it all go? Drugs?

Swunkie

I just took the ride again! I noticed how great the piano in the beginning is.

Allison.Actually

Stolen valor … and then some. The Commander is a disgusting piece of work.

Alana Abel

I hate it there, gotta do curbside 😂

Kate Toy

cursed HEB !!

Andrea

My favorite in a while.. thanks

Greg Howes

Future story for you ACC, the UK post office scandal. Post masters incorrectly sentenced for stealing money all because of a faulty Fujitsu software.

Swunkie

Between him and Kevin, the Commander was the real bastard!!

Alana Abel

Hi from riverside & pleasant valley 💕🐶

Kate Toy

this one was a wild ride, v well done :) loving this season!

Andrea Johnson

I'm still trying to figure out whether using the name Nimitz was more ballsy, or more stupid.

Alan

Wow. Might be one of the best rabbit holes ever in this episode, it just kept going! Excellent work!

Alea Intrica

Has anyone figured out what's in the backtracked bit following the plug?

Mason

Up to 90% of funds collected were kept by the telemarketers. The Commander certainly wasn't a hard-driving dealmaker. I loved the episode ACC. Thanks!

Kingfisher

A top episode. This had so many twists, excellent telling ACC. Can't wait for the bonus 🤘

Jenny Long

I love the long intros...im listening...getting into it...then I hear 15 minutes in..."On this episode of Swindled ".....and I get excited cuz we are just getting started!! 🤣🤣 Great episode as usual!
