I’m still shaking my head. My parents both had a deviated septum and he was considered a “pro”, at the time. I was amused that my favorite podcaster did an episode about this quack. I listen to podcasts as I spend a lot of time editing and creating documents, excel sheets. Nothing wrong w that. Keeps me from falling into hopeless spirals of apathy.

Well, ACC, I gotta apologize for underestimating you. I have listened to and/or watched several episodes on this guy via podcasts and different TV programs. I figured I knew everything there was to know about this story. How wrong I was! Once again you proved that ACC IS THE MASTER AT RESEARCH as well as story telling! You brought out lots of different details I hadn't heard before. And of course your classy snark was well timed as always. BEST PODCASTER OF ALL TIME.

That's my hometown in the opener 😬 The most infuriating aspects of both cases for me were the principles of each story getting off way too easy in comparison to the victims (not the insurance company, but the patients, obvs). Thanks for another well done episode, ACC.

It’s a cultural thing in Europe not just to get back at the boss. There’s a delightful French word “perruque” which has the idiomatic meaning of what one does for oneself during work time. It literally means wig so the link is subterfuge.
