I used to be an Evangelical going to a megachurch and I loved that music. But eventually all the hypocrisy, judgmentalism, and constant manipulation for money turned me off. And all that was before they became a tool for right-wing extremists. Now the music and all reminders of that life make me gag.

Funny, with all that vomiting on a constant, long-term basis, one would normally lose a significant amount of weight. 🤔 Seems odd that nobody caught on.

Some gold in that episode. Loved the tubes out of his nose as he stressed “issue”. Loved the line about his wife standing by her porn addicted, cancer-faking husband. And there is a beautiful symmetry around God also being flawed given he took the wrong brother out with a bolt of lightning at a church camp. If there is a god, they have a great sense of humour.
