Just to clarify, by 'they' you mean Runyan and Cominsky (who perpetrated the fraud/cheating), and not Jacob Fischer (who to my knowledge was not involved in the scheme in any way), correct? And yeah, although they did also get their fishing licences suspended for 3 years, 6 months probation and Cominsky giving up his 100k bass boat, it still seems pretty minor punishment considering they quite likely swindled upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of prizes, but I guess they could only convict based on the 28k prize value in this tournament as it was the only one that they had direct conclusive evidence to convict on.
