Happy Birthday Marc! Cool video. I have my family’s old GE 6.5” CRT from 1988. We used to it to watch tv at dinner some times. Now I just bought one of those 3.5mm-RF adapters so I can try this lol.

The only portable "TV" that I had was a Turbo Express with the TV tuner, which is the reverse setup from a portable TV/stereo with a console connected to it. I was more into TG16 games than Game Gear games, but the latter with its TV tuner probably would have costed a lot less.

Happy birthday!
Found a Memorex 16-409 Portavision a few months back and it actually has a composite input. It's a little 5" tube from 1992. I love having it around, obscure monitors are fun

That is super cool, and even more so that your parents would think of something like that

I just love the assortment of videos from your Patreon exclusives playlist, from commentaries, to unboxing, to things like this which are interesting but couldn’t fill a “real” episode. Thanks for the quality content.

This brings me back to when I only have a B&W Tv to play my Astrocade on.

The first TV almost looked like it would be in color, must be my imagination!
