What the FUCK, this is the first time I'm hearing about Venmo transactions being public by default. We have a similar instant transaction app in Sweden co-owned by the 7 largest banks, so when I started hearing people talk about Venmo I just assumed it was pretty much the same thing. Well that and also it sounds fucking insane to combine that kind of utility with a social network, so since I i haven't heard anyone mention it before I've never had a reason to guess. This blows my mind, who the fuck would come up with that and *why*? Well I guess at least that fact gave us the second most hilarious part of this episode behind MTG going full Are We The Baddies, so there's that.

FYI to June, the “dems will have a supermajority” quote from Marge was from a bad half ass wannabe Onion satire twitter account that went viral. I thought it was true at first too because it’s frankly pretty believable

Thomas Jefferson feather quill pen bit was incredible, bawling my eyes out at 8 AM... "just cuz" 😭

Good albeit grim episode. I truly hope that the malignant use of AI is picked up by the general population so that there is more pressure to regulate or dismantle it. Also fun to get a Crumb reference.
