Banger ep y’all. DEI in the academy is still incredibly conservative fyi. Had a whole ass neuroscience professor in my department tell me that he doesn’t “get” pronouns and so simply will just “call them like I see them”. These mfers are so smart and so fucking dumb.

the fact that they don't understand the point of a DEI, which is to protect a company and effect no change beyond maybe a training here or there, baffles me like no guys the idea of a DEI is largely just keeping the world you want in place it's like thinking HR is there for You, not the Company. baffling

Neri Oxman doesn’t do ecological work. She does design and 3d printing. She just sprinkles the word ecology into her work to make it sound fancy and sustainable. As an actual ecologist I hate this type of thing!!! Ecology is a real field!!!
