Status on the GameCube RGB episode
🕑 Added 2016-03-11 16:56:38 +0000 UTC Hey everyone, Coury here. I thought I'd drop a little note on the status of the anticipated RGB 207 episode on the GameCube. As you may have noticed, we've missed release date on it for a couple of weeks now. The reason for this is that the episode is actually 99% done, but we are waiting to receive a new mod that we'll be revealing in the episode for the first time. The unit has been completed and will be shipped to us either today or tomorrow. From there, once we get the unit, it should only be a couple of hours to get the shots we need and finish the edit, so it should be out Tuesday or Weds of next week.
I wish we'd have anticipated earlier on that it would have been pushed back like this so I could have put together an episode to release in the meantime, but alas here we are. We could have moved forward with the release without this segment, but skipping it would be detrimental to the episode itself and cause it to be outdated almost immediately.
As the RGB series increases in popularity, I guess we have to realize that there will be times when sticking to the exact schedule will be difficult. Especially when getting access to specific pieces of hardware or system mods that are still early in development, so its not entirely about our schedule - we have to accommodate for these opportunities as well. In situations like those, we'll do our best to keep a steady stream of content coming if so if something gets pushed back, we have something fill the gap with.
Thanks so much for understanding, and look for the episode really soon!
