The Sights and Sounds of E3 2002
🕑 Added 2016-06-22 13:01:15 +0000 UTC Here's a little something different that I thought our Patrons might find fun. My friend Chris had a VHS tape of him walking around when he went to E3 in 2002. I thought it would be fun to digitize and show to all of you. Enjoy!- Coury

Thanks a bunch for posting this. The sound is pretty terrible, but it's still cool to see what essentially is a time capsule of video game history.

Nothing really crazy. I had to run it through a DVD Recorder to upscale it to 480p, then all I had to do was capture it at 60fps. Glad you took notice of this! For VHS stuff like this, 60fps can really *ahem* CAPTURE the look.

Very happy to see you did this as a 60p conversion. What was your conversion process?
Would have loved to have gone to one of the late 90's early 2000's E3's. It won't be long before some of those games are considered retro. Love how everyone is playing on CRT's as it was still the standard : )
