Dev Diary #4 (0.03a)
🕑 Added 2023-10-15 21:13:28 +0000 UTCYo! Another week, another dev diary to tell you all how development is going.
I've been a little busy these last few days, so things have slowed down a bit, and because of that, there's not much to say about what's to come or what I've been working on. But don't worry, I'm already back at working on the game on a more regular rhythm.
Work has mostly been done on writing for the events and doing the layout of the scenes and events. I think that I'm about halfway done with the bigger and more detailed events. Once I'm done with them, I'll start working on the smaller events to fill up the game with some interesting 'interludes' in between days. And then it's all a matter of fitting the events inside the code to go with the event logic and the gameplay loop and we're done. Hopefully, soon.
I know I said this in the last dev diary, but the thing I'm mostly looking forward for you all to see is the upcoming animations I've been doing. I think they're looking very good and I can't wait to share them!
Also, the renders for today, again, were mostly done for practice and to make this dev diary a little bit prettier to look at, but some were done for 'scouting' reasons, which means that I was looking at some assets, maps, clothing and things like that, with the intent of eventually doing some scenes and events with those in mind. Which means, that some of the renders are basically sneak peeks of things to come…

Yeah, it's a classic! And who knows, maybe I'll do some cosplaying related content with Haruka in game at some point. :P
