A bit off topic but anyone catch the latest Furze vid? Was just thinking it would be absolute scenes if BOM collabed to help engineer the car lift he's planning

As much as I love your DIY attitude, I just don't see how this one makes sense. Generating gerber files takes a few clicks in all PCB design software and is trivial. It's significantly easier than generating NC files, since it's much higher level and machine-agnostic. You argue that having an in-house PCB prototyping process reduces friction and time needed for changes to the PCB. I'm not convinced. If I used your custom process that is rather lengthy and error-prone, I would be much less likely to embark on a small-but-nice charge to the layout. It's just so much easier make a few changes in EasyEDA and then do the dead-simple process to have the board manufactured. Then you can stop thinking about it for a week or two while the boards are manufactured, and you can basically be assured they'll work as designed. Regardless of all that, it's cool to see a novel process for building your own PCBs. Can't wait to see what's next
