Updates: Good news and bad news

Sorry for the long radio silence!
First things first; new video should be out in a couple of weeks. And about god damn time for that!
This will be very much your "standard Arcane Workshop video": good games, weird anecdotes, daddy issues, overtly melodramatic passages. I have a good feeling about this one, unlike......
Updates:
Sorry for the lack of videos for the last few months, been little overwhelmed with personal stuff. Nothing serious but you know, life happens... The possibility to only write for few months didn't pan out.
This has forced me to learn how to write on the spot; I have a small notebook with me everywhere I go. I constantly scribble notes, lines and ideas... It's been quite fun actually.
So the lack of videos isn't for a lack of inspiration; I've actually finished four, five scripts during these last months, but then ran into the existential brickwall of "why even bother?!"
This abandonment of finished scripts isn't about perfectionism (atleast not entirely)
The short of it is; I really struggle with the whole YouTube-thing at the moment.
The last few ones I've written have fallen into the category of "content": things I've thought would make an interresting video or be a intriguing topic to explore - not something I just can't stop thinking or shut up about...
And this just doesn't work for me, atleast at the moment. If I'm not obsessed about the idea, it won't make it to the finish line...
But it's not all doom and gloom... There are some great bits I'll cannibalize to upcoming things and I have many things in the works I'm thrilled about. And maybe these abandoned scripts find their form sometime later, who knows.
I'll try to view these last few months as an excercise in "what doesn't work for me", and as it turns out that's pretty much anything I'm not 100% posessed by.
So from now on it's just things I myself am exited about. Things which I struggle to articulate, problems I try to solve.
I realise "this text made me a better person" is a really saccharine goal as a writer (or whatever it is I do), but as of now I have very little interrest in anything else.
It's a rough deal for you guys, but that's how things are.
This next video will be short-ish - atleast by my standards - around 20 minutes or so... But the ones after that... ... Well, let's say, based on the rough drafts they'll all closer to the 60-90 minute run time... And with my obsession on music, flow, structure and all that; these Magnum Opuses will propably take a while to finish.
I really thought I could do the occasional "light" video now and then to keep you patrons and The almighty YouTube Algorithm happy... But with me that was a recipe for just spreading myself thin on myriad of subjects I wasn't all that passionate about.
And that's why your support means so much to me... but I'm inclined to say; If you support me on the hope one day this operation will become a fluent video churning machine with regular content; I really, really don't see that in the roadmap.
So you know, you've been warned. No hard feelings If you want drop your pledge down a level or two. :D
If you're fine with this erratic stream of weirdness this channel has become... Well... wow, thank you.

- Dabbled with "creating content"; really hate it - don't want to be a "content creator"
- From now on only exciting shit that sets my soul on fire.

Was just about to hit "render" and then BAM... Blackout - Our grid is down till the morning. Perhaps that's a sign. :D Hopefully I can upload the video tomorrow!

Take your time! Don't feel pressured to make "content" because of patrons. We'll (I'll) be here no matter what, even if it means a vid every 5 months. Instead, try doing something that would make you proud!
