Had this one on my list but then got tipped off to a reference to my article! I must submit a correction - the version of Cotton Eye Joe played at berghain by Marie malarie WAS a remix, not the original, the refrain is played just once after a long house build. There were several other points from Shawn that I would argue with on a subjective level, but that one is a straight fact check ;)
