UKRAINE WAR DAILY #3 – 22/05/2023
🕑 Added 2023-05-23 21:42:03 +0000 UTCIn this episode I look back at the origin of the Ukraine as being located in the long term crisis of US imperialism. In doing so I look at the Maidan coup, the reasons for the extreme violence involved in it, the events in Ukraine as a class war and why the project is so crucial for US imperialism. This also takes in the Russian intervention in Syria and how this plays into the US actions in Ukraine.
Intro is dialogue taken from ‘Apocalypse Now’ (1979) featuring Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando – Directed by Francis Ford Coppola
