Red Star Daily #6
🕑 Added 2022-10-19 23:22:33 +0000 UTCn this episode of the daily update I look at the latest decisions made by the Russian Security Council including the imposition of martial law in the four new regions of Russia, the potential for Ukrainian assaults in Kherson and the evacuation of the civilian population from there and the continued attempts by Ukraine to retake the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
I also consider the cliches indulged in by western intellectuals when it comes to the Russian Army, the wretched propaganda of Anthony Beevor and the desperate projection of NATO propagandists.
Episode Outro is "Stand Up For The Revolution" a song of the Palestinian resistance
Episode Artwork is Etude to the diorama The Battle of Poltava by the Soviet artist Pyotr Ivanovich Zhigimont (1958)

I remember really liking Beevor’s Stalingrad but you’re right, he presents the Russians more like a persistent horde than capable tacticians
